Established on the 26th of April, 2013 by Upa Dr. G. Chinkholian and his family in loving memory of his wife Late Niankhovung.
It is the first bakery of its kind in Churachandpur having its humble beginning with the start of its production in April of 2013.
Since then, with the blessing of Almighty Tunnu Bakes and Cakes has grown to become a household name and brand, known and trusted by locals.
With the support of our well-wishes, today we have become the ‘Taste of Lamka’ while also contributing in the local economy and rendering employment to our 30 plus workers and 200 plus vendors.
We continue to work hard to deliver, uplift and serve one another with love.
By the grace of God, our new factory at Mata Mualtam was inaugurated on 7th March 2026 by Pu G. Jelkhanthang, brother of (L) Dr. Chinkholian Guite, Chairman of the Tunnu Group, and was dedicated to the glory of God by Rev. K. Kamchinkhup, General Secretary of EBC. The event was held in the presence of Pu John Hauzel, General Manager, DIC, Churachandpur; Pi Lalsangliani, Former General Manager, DIC, Churachandpur; Pi Lalrammawi, Chief Manager, SBI, Churachandpur; and Pu Paukhenkhup Guite, Director, Tunnu Industries.
